Interested in Hosting a Run?

We're looking for key partners to host a Run for Hungry Children in your area. This is an incredible opportunity to galvanize your community around the issue of children and poverty, to build relationships with local business leaders, to engage families, friends and supporters in a worthy cause, and most of all to have fun. As a host site, you have the option of selecting a mission project (focusing on orphans and vulnerable children) where a portion of the donations made go to.

We've made running this event a turnkey operation. Each host site works directly with Mike Wiersema, Bright Hope's National Race Director, and receives a manual with everything you need to know and do to put on a successful event. We are with you every step of the way.

Here is the information you need to get started (PDF download):

About 25 percent of India’s people live below the poverty line. Families living in crowded Indian cities struggle to make ends meet. Fathers are sometimes only able to make 75 cents a day. This is not nearly enough to feed their families, let alone send their children to school. Often, children are taken out of school and forced to work to help earn income for the family. This decision slams the door on the possibility of a better life. Bright Hope’s feeding program brings Hope to these families by giving their children a full stomach , an education, and a shot at a better life.
