About 25 percent of India’s people live below the poverty line. Families living in crowded Indian cities struggle to make ends meet. Fathers are sometimes only able to make 75 cents a day. This is not nearly enough to feed their families, let alone send their children to school. Often, children are taken out of school and forced to work to help earn income for the family. This decision slams the door on the possibility of a better life. Bright Hope’s feeding program brings Hope to these families by giving
their children a full stomach , an education, and a shot at a
better life.
